New 'Hannah Montana' CD on its way

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- "Hannah Montana Forever," a CD featuring 11 songs by Miley Cyrus as her small-screen alter-ego Hannah Montana, is set for U.S. release next month.

The soundtrack from Walt Disney Records is to arrive at retailers Oct. 19, it was announced Thursday.

The CD features the actress and pop superstar collaborating with Iyaz, Sheryl Crow and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. It will have its broadcast debut on Radio Disney's Planet Premiere feature with host Ernie D on Oct. 17.

Cyrus' hit Disney Channel series "Hannah Montana" is now in its fourth season.
