The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, which has a longstanding role in movie history and was the site of the first Oscars ceremony, will once again serve as the official hotel for the festival, as well as a central gathering point for attendees, the cable network said.

Screenings and events are to be held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Mann's Chinese 6 and the Egyptian Theatre.

"We're all very excited about returning to Hollywood for our second TCM Classic Film Festival," Osborne said in a statement Wednesday. "It's another rare chance for TCM fans from all over the world to get together, see great films on the big screen and be in the presence of a wide variety of famous filmmakers. It will be an all-new experience and, once again, an extraordinary celebration."

TCM said it will begin announcing films and special guests for the 2011 TCM Classic Film Festival, along with information about purchasing festival passes, in the coming months.
