LOS ANGELES, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Actor and singer David Hasselhoff was the first celebrity eliminated from Season 11 of "Dancing with the Stars" in Los Angeles Tuesday.
"It's been a great ride," the former "Baywatch" star said upon learning fate. "I feel bad for Kym (Johnson) because she worked so hard to get me where I was going. I'm just so proud my daughters are here and they got to see me go this far."
Still in the running for the coveted mirror ball trophy, along with their professional dance partners, are Michael Bolton, Margaret Cho, Rick Fox, Jennifer Grey, Florence Henderson, Kyle Massey, Brandy, Bristol Palin, Audrina Patridge, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Kurt Warner.
