Reiner is the movie's director, writer and producer. His previous film credits include "Stand by Me," "When Harry Met Sally," "A Few Good Men," "The Princess Bride" and "The Bucket List."

Reiner's latest movie, a collaboration between Castle Rock Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures, stars Callan McAuliffe, Madeline Carroll, Aidan Quinn, Penelope Ann Miller, Kevin Weisman, Anthony Edwards and Rebecca De Mornay.

"To have Rob Reiner here in Indianapolis for this event is a true honor and we are proud to host the Heartland premiere of this incredible film," Jeffrey L. Sparks, president and chief executive officer of Heartland Truly Moving Pictures, said in a statement. "We're also excited that people in the Heartland will have a jump on other filmgoers in America, as they'll have the opportunity to view this movie before it opens in theaters around the country."

Opening in limited release Aug. 6 and nationwide Aug. 27, "Flipped" is billed in a synopsis as a coming-of-age romantic comedy that follows a young couple from grade school to junior high, through triumph and disaster, family drama and first love, as they make the discoveries that will define who they are and who they are to each other.
