LOS ANGELES, June 21 (UPI) -- Chris Klein's publicist says the actor is seeking treatment for alcohol addiction at Utah's Cirque Lodge after his second DUI arrest.
"After recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years. He understands now that he cannot beat this disease alone," his representative Jaime Primak told People.com in an exclusive statement. "He thanks everyone for their support as he takes all the necessary steps to deal with his addiction and asks for privacy while doing so."
Klein was arrested last week and charged with DUI. He was also arrested in 2005 for the same reason.
The 31-year-old actor is known for his work in the films "Election," "American Pie," "We Were Soldiers" and "American Dreamz."
