'Alice' tops DVD sales chart in U.S.

LOS ANGELES, June 10 (UPI) -- Tim Burton's live-action fairytale "Alice in Wonderland" is the top-selling DVD in the United States, Rentrak said Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the sales chart for the week ending June 6 is "The Wolfman," followed by "Dear John" at No. 3, "True Blood: The Complete Second Season" and "Avatar" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Valentine's Day" at No. 6, "Edge of Darkness" at No. 7, "Burn Notice: Season Three" at No. 8, "Legion" at No. 9 and "Tooth Fairy" at No. 10.

The No. 1 rental DVD in the United States for the week ending June 5 is "The Wolfman," Rentrak said.

"Alice in Wonderland" ranked No. 2, "Valentine's Day" No. 3, "Dear John" No. 4, "Edge of Darkness" No. 5,

"Invictus" No. 6, "The Road" No. 7, "It's Complicated" No. 8, "Legion" No. 9 and "The Spy Next Door" No. 10.
