LOS ANGELES, May 1 (UPI) -- Hollywood actress Marley Shelton was arrested in Los Angeles after failing a field sobriety test, TMZ.com reports.

The entertainment Web site says the actress was pulled over around 10:30 p.m. Friday in Hollywood and taken into custody by police on a charge of driving under the influence.

The star of "Grindhouse," "W" and "Women in Trouble" was released early Saturday after posting $5,000, TMZ said.
