Teen solves centuries-old math problem
LOS ANGELES, Ill., March 28 (UPI) -- It wasn't a Hollywood roast, but actor Matt Damon took the personal jokes in stride Saturday night at the 24th American Cinemantheque Award.
The "Invictus" and "Bourne" movie franchise star was honored by his friends and colleagues in Beverly Hills, including his buddies Ben Affeck and Jennifer Garner, People magazine said.
"Matt always said to me, 'Ben, there are two things that are more important to me than anything else in this world.' Folks: fame, money. You did it, Matty! You got there!" quipped Affleck.
Comedian Sarah Silverman joked that she gave Damon his first big break by putting him in her raunchy 2008 viral video hit.
"The worst thing I could say is, you know, Matt Damon is like, maybe he's a perfectionist," said Silverman. "And his breath is like, Jesus! And his hair plugs are really obvious. Besides that, there's like nothing. So sorry, roast not possible!"
Guests included former President Bill Clinton, actor Don Cheadle, comedian Jimmy Kimmel and actor-director Clint Eastwood.
