'Dogs' tops DVD sales list

LOS ANGELES, March 18 (UPI) -- The Robin Williams-John Travolta comedy "Old Dogs" is the top-selling DVD in the United States, Rentrak said Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD sales list for the week ending March 14 is "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire," followed by "The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day" at No. 3, "2012" at No. 4 and "Planet 51" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Up in the Air" at No. 6, "Where the Wild Things Are" at No. 7, "Barbie in A Mermaid Tale" at No. 8, "The Hurt Locker" at No. 9 and "Hannah Montana: Miley Says Goodbye?" at No. 10.

The top DVD rental for the week ending March 13 is "2012."

"Up In The Air" is No. 2, "Precious" is No. 3, "Law Abiding Citizen" is No. 4, "The Time Traveler's Wife" is No. 5, "Couples Retreat" is No. 6, "Old Dogs" is No. 7, "Planet 51" is No. 8, "The Hurt Locker" is No. 9 and "The Hangover" is No. 10, Rentrak said.
