Mo'Nique returns to TV after Oscar win

NEW YORK, March 10 (UPI) -- Mo'Nique has returned to work on her late-night chat show after winning an Oscar at Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, BET said.

Her first new episode of "The Mo'Nique Show" since winning the statuette for her portrayal of an abusive mother in "Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' By Sapphire" is to air Thursday.

The network said her guests that night will be Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson, Tony Award winner and NAACP Image Award-nominated actress Anika Noni Rose and Academy Award-winning rappers Three 6 Mafia.
