LONDON, March 5 (UPI) -- British filmmaker Nick Park says he would like to make a Plasticine picture in 3D.

Park's stop-motion animated films include "Creature Comforts," "The Wrong Trousers," "A Close Shave" and "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit." He is to compete for the Oscar for best animated short Sunday for his film "A Matter of Loaf and Death."

"I'd like to see a 3D Plasticine animation -- I think it would really suit it," Park told the BBC. "In a way, I've been a bit skeptical, but I have a feature idea up my sleeve which I'm thinking might be 3D. ... When I first saw 3D coming in I had quite an appetite to do a 3D film. We were even planning to do an IMAX 'Wallace and Gromit' at one point in 3D, but for some reason financially that got shelved."
