Gary Busey is a new dad at 65

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Gary Busey's girlfriend has given birth to their first child together, a son they named Luke Samson Busey, ET.com reported.

Steffanie Sampson, 40, gave birth to the boy Tuesday morning. He weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces.

"This feels like a dream," the couple said in a statement. "We feel so blessed and are overwhelmed with happiness at Luke's arrival."

Busey, 65, has starred in the films "Blood Sport," "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot," "A Star Is Born," "Barbarosa," "Point Break," "The Firm" and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." He also is the father of 38-year-old actor Jake Busey.
