LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Film star and singer Kathryn Grayson has died of natural causes at her Los Angeles home, the Wall Street Journal said Thursday. She was 88.
Grayson's film credits include the movie musicals "Anchors Aweigh," "Show Boat," "Lovely to Look At," "It Happened in Brooklyn" and "Kiss Me Kate," as well as the films "Andy Hardy's Private Secretary" and "That Midnight Kiss."

The Journal said the North Carolina native later toured as a singer and starred in one-woman stage shows.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Kathryn.
