Oscar ballots due Saturday

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- The 5,777 voting members of Hollywood's Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences must return their completed Oscar nominations ballots by Saturday.

The ballots are to be received by PricewaterhouseCoopers no later than 5 p.m. or else they will not be counted, the Academy said Thursday.

PricewaterhouseCoopers will tabulate the ballots and nominations for the 82nd Academy Awards will be announced Feb. 2 at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2009 are to be presented March 7 at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center. The show will be televised live by the ABC Television Network.
