LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Actress Diane Ladd is to co-star with her real-life daughter, Laura Dern, in the HBO comedy pilot "Enlightened," The Hollywood Reporter said.
Dern and Ladd have previously co-starred in the films "Rambling Rose," "White Lightning," "Wild at Heart," "Citizen Ruth" and "Daddy and Them."
"Enlightened," their latest collaboration, will see Dern and Ladd play respectively a self-destructive woman, who goes to live with her mother after a breakdown, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
Luke Wilson is to play the drug addicted husband the woman leaves behind in writer Mike White's single-camera pilot, The Hollywood Reporter said.
