LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles County Coroner says it has deferred listing the cause of actress Brittany Murphy's death, E! News said.

The death certificate released Tuesday lists the cause of death as "deferred." Officials have said the reason why she died will not be determined until after toxicology, histological and neurological test results are analyzed over the next few weeks.

The "Clueless" and "Sin City" star died Dec. 20 at the age of 32.

Usmagazine.com said Murphy's death certificate listed her father as "unknown" even though Angelo Bertolotti, the ex-husband of Murphy's mother, has been widely acknowledged as her dad.

The document also listed the actress' cousin, Tayebe Pajooh, as the informant, meaning Pajooh was charged with providing the mortuary with information about the deceased.
