CINCINNATI, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Actress Faith Prince told winter graduates of the University of Cincinnati to venture outside their safety zones as they move forward in their lives.
Speaking at the university's winter graduation ceremony Saturday, the film and stage actress also offered memories of her own experiences at the Ohio university, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
"My knees wobbled when I first walked into the conservatory building -- they still do," Prince said. "The education I received here at this university, like yours, was one of the most defining moments of my life."
Among the pieces of advice given by the 52-year-old actress Saturday were for graduates to remain humble, treat others well and ask for help when needed.
"Follow your yellow brick road, click your heels and in 30 years, maybe you'll be making your own commencement speech," Prince offered.
In addition to stage performances in "Guys and Dolls" and "Bells are Ringing," Prince enjoyed film roles in "Picture Perfect" and "Our Very Own." Her TV credits range from "Spin City" to "Huff."
