NEW YORK, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke is planning to marry Elena Kuletskaya, a Russian model he has been dating for several months, sources told the New York Post.

Rourke, 57, has been enjoying a career resurgence since he earned an Oscar nomination for his work in the heart-breaking 2008 drama "The Wrestler."

The Post quoted an unnamed source as saying the actor proposed to Kuletskaya, 24, over dinner last week.

"They haven't booked a venue or made any solid plans. He just knows he wants to do it in April, and he's been asking what is involved in a traditional Russian wedding ceremony," a friend of Rourke told the newspaper.

The Post said the actor's representative didn't return its phone calls seeking a comment on the story.

Rourke, whose film credits include "Rumblefish," "9 1/2 Weeks" and "Barfly," is to play a Russian villain in "Iron Man 2."

He was previously married to Debra Feuerended and Carrie Otis. Both marriages ended in divorce.
