The United States was first introduced to the "Max Steel" action figure in 1999 and the toy led to an animated TV series that ran from 2000 to 2002.
Chad Damiani and JP Lavin have been hired to write the screenplay for "Max Steel," Variety reported. No director has been named as yet.
