LOS ANGELES, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Jon Voight says he and his film star daughter Angelina Jolie are talking again after years of estrangement.
"We're in touch, but not regularly," Voight told Us Weekly. "We love each other and that's the most important thing."
"They met face-to-face (in February,)" a family friend told the magazine, adding they have been talking ever since. "Angie made the initial contact," the insider said. "Brad (Pitt) has been supportive -- a key factor in her reaching out."
Jolie, who won an Oscar for her performance in "Girl Interrupted," and actor Pitt are the parents of six young children.
