LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- A settlement has been reached in a lawsuit a woman brought against Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman regarding a 2008 car crash, court records show.
TMZ said the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Demaris Meyer said she sustained broken bones, bruises and lacerations when she was a passenger in Freeman's car after he lost control of the vehicle on a Mississippi highway.
Meyer claimed Freeman, who broke his arm, elbow and shoulder in the wreck, had been drinking alcohol before the incident, but no criminal charges were filed against the "Million Dollar Baby" Oscar winner.
"We're all glad it's over with," Freeman's lawyer told TMZ about the settlement.
