SANTA MONICA, Calif., Nov. 4 (UPI) -- British actor Ralph Fiennes is set to make his big-screen directorial debut with a film adaptation of "Coriolanus" starring Gerard Butler.

The Hollywood Reporter said Fiennes will also co-star in the contemporary movie based on William Shakespeare's political stage drama and scheduled to start shooting in Serbia in March.

Fiennes will portray the title character, while Butler is to play Tullus Aufidius. The cast will also include William Hurt, Eddie Marsan, Jessica Chastain and Vanessa Redgrave, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.
