Sandler to play dual roles in comedy

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Adam Sandler is to play brother and sister twins in the big-screen romantic comedy, "Jack and Jill," sources told Variety.

Sandler is also producing the flick for Columbia Pictures through his Happy Madison production company.

The movie is slated to start shooting early next year and is set for a 2011 release, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

Sandler, a former "Saturday Night Live" cast member, was last seen in "Funny People."

He has also starred in the blockbuster films "Happy Gilmore," "Billy Madison," "The Waterboy," "The Wedding Singer" and "Big Daddy."
