Cross-country drive on 2 gallons of gas

NEW YORK, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane and The Dream have performed at the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards show taping in Atlanta.
Rapper, actor, producer, screenwriter and director Ice Cube was also presented with the I Am Hip-Hop Icon Award at the event, which was presided over by comedian Mike Epps. It is to air on BET Tuesday night.
Also seen attending or performing on the show were Missy Elliott, Monica, Fabolous, DJ Khaled, Tiny and Toya, Jim Jones, Wale, Mario, OJ Da Juiceman, Soulja Boy Tell'em, Chuck D, Plies, DJ Drama, Shawty Lo, Fonzworth Bentley, Lil Scrappy, Dorrough, Nipsey Hussle, Goodie Mob and Big Boi.
The prize presentation was previously taped in Atlanta's Boisfeuillet Jones Civic Center.
