BURBANK, Calif., Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Krysten Ritter, Ivan Sergei, Ving Rhames and Rachel Hunter have been cast in the new U.S. ensemble dramedy series, "Gravity," Starz announced.

Set to debut exclusively on the network in the spring of 2010, the show follows the "sometimes comic, sometimes tragic exploits of a group from an eccentric out-patient program of suicide survivors," Starz said in a release.

Eric Schaeffer, the series' co-creator and one of its executive producers, also co-stars in the show, along with Robyn Cohen, James Martinez and Seth Numrich.

The 10 episodes of "Gravity" are to begin production later this month in New York, where Schaeffer is based.

Starz's production and distribution sibling Starz Media is producing "Gravity" and will handle worldwide distribution of the half-hour series.
