NEW YORK, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- British actor Daniel Radcliffe has signed on to star in a reading of the stage musical, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," in New York.

Radcliffe is best known for his portrayal of the titular boy wizard in the Harry Potter film franchise, as well as for his work in the stage drama, "Equus."

Variety said producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron are considering a Broadway revival of the 1961 show, which would mark Radcliffe's professional musical theater debut.

If the production gets the green light, Rob Ashford would direct and choreograph it, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

The reading reportedly is to take place in December. No other cast members have been confirmed yet, Variety said.
