Lambert insists 'Idol' did not create him

NASHVILLE, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley and George Strait are set to perform at the upcoming CMA Awards in Nashville, organizers said.
Also confirmed to sing at the Nov. 11 event are Darius Rucker, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, the Country Music Association said Monday.
Paisley and Underwood have signed on to serve as hosts of the prize presentation at the Sommet Center.
