Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Paul Walker's family has investigated a theory that the Porsche he was riding in before the crash that killed him had slipped on reflective plastic markers in the street.

TMZ reported that experts told Walker's family that a car approaching 90 MPH will lose traction after hitting "Botts' Dots", reflective dots on the road used to guide drivers at night.

An interview shortly before Walker's death revealed the Fast and the Furious star was happy with his life as a father. "I'm glad I had her at 25, because at 40 and 15, we're matching up sweet. It's just working. It's perfect."
