The singer was due to take the stage at 9 p.m. but her flight from Perth was 40 minutes late, The (Melbourne) Herald-Sun reported.
It was another 40 minutes before she finally hit the stage, though she failed to offer an apology for her late arrival.
“Adelaide what the [expletive] … I’m finally here … and I now remember how crazy my Australian fans are,” she said as she took the stage.
During the hour and 20 minute wait, fans took matters into their own hands and many held an impromptu dance party, which was displayed on the screens onstage, the newspaper reported.
