Hoda Kotb accidentally revealed her cell phone number live on NBC's "Today," resulting in her receiving more than 1,000 text messages from fans and dozens of phone calls.

The 49-year-old television host was showing off the features of the new Samsung watchphone Thursday by calling the new device with her cell phone, the New York Daily News said.

Her digits flashed on the screen of the watchphone, which was displayed live on air in a close-up shot. Not long after, Kotb began receiving phone calls from all over the United States.

"Did it really show my number? Oh my God, it's doing it again," she said.

"That was from Bridgeport," she said of a caller who hung up on her.
