For the first time in 40 years, Black Sabbath has hit the Billboard charts.
The band's latest album, "13," has sold 155,000 copies in its debut week, and is the band's first-ever No. 1 start, going back to its founding.
Black Sabbath was formed by Ozzy Osbourne in 1969, with guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward. "13" is the first time Osbourne has appeared with Iommi and Butler on an album since 1978's "Never Say Die!"
Ward was originally slated to record and go on tour with his other former bandmates, but dropped out after a contract dispute. In his place, Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine played drums.
The band kicks off its North American tour in July.
