Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, who make up the French electronic duo behind this year's summer smash, "Get Lucky," phoned into Los Angeles radio station KROQ on Tuesday, for a rare interview.

It should come as no surprise that the men who scored 2010's "Tron: Legacy" soundtrack and don robot helmets for public appearances have nerdy interests. The two told KROQ's Stryker that they are "big fans" of J.J. Abrams work and they're looking forward to his take on "Star Wars: Episode 7."

“We feel really good [about it],” Bangalter said.

“We’ve always been big fans of his work. I happened to have met J.J. a few years back, and he’s a really cool guy. He seems to be the perfect candidate to keep the Force alive," he added.

They also discussed the controversial series finale of "Lost," the sci-fi show co-created by Abrams.

“As Pharrell would sing in ‘Get Lucky,’ ‘All ends with beginnings,’” Bangalter joked.
