Lindsay Lohan transfers from Betty Ford clinic to rehab in Malibu

Lindsay Lohan is looking for a change of scenery during her court-ordered 90 days of rehab.

She moved out of the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs after finishing its 30-day program.

"Betty Ford is great and very professional, but it's a 30-day program, so Lindsay has moved to a different facility to finish out her time given by the judge," her mother Dina Lohan said.

She upgrades to the Cliffside Malibu rehab center, which takes up two acres on the coast of California and has several swanky features, including a heated lap pool, professional chef and sun deck.

Dina Lohan said that the facility will better suit Lohan and provide a better rehab experience moving forward -- but not because of the Egyptian cotton towels.

"It's more of a one-on-one situation where she is now, which is the next step," she said. "She'll be getting more individual attention, a holistic approach and a lot of exercise. It's great for her. She's doing fantastic."

This is Lohan's sixth stint in rehab. She put in a plea with Betty Ford to get out of rehab in time for her birthday, but doctors there said she needed more time than she was court-ordered, not less.

The judge has said Lohan must stay put the entire three months of rehab, warning that she will go to jail if she leaves the campus for any reason.

No word on whether the facility will reinstate her Adderall prescription, as it was taken away after a few weeks at Betty Ford.
