But in a Wednesday interview with Hot 99.5 in Washington D.C., the 20-year-old adamantly denied the Bieber reports by re-confirming her oft-questioned engagement to "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth.
"I'm engaged!" Cyrus said. "I'm engaged. That is impossible."
US Weekly said late last month that Hemsworth and Cyrus were "definitely over," though no one from either camp has confirmed or denied the report.
The "We Can't Stop" singer also addressed the behavior of another former child star, saying that she had been rooting for Amanda Bynes until now.
“I won’t even entertain that thought,” Cyrus said when she was asked about how Bynes made her the subject of a recent Twitter attack. “I think it’s all so sad, and I don’t want to add any fuel to that fire."
“I was rooting for her comeback until she started attacking me. I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter," Cyrus said.
