Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Tyrese Gibson will not be charged for physically abusing his 10-year-old daughter Shayla following an investigation by child services.

The actor has been in an ongoing custody battle over Shayla whom he shares with his ex-wife Norma Mitchell Gibson. Norma originally accused Gibson of abusing their daughter in August stating that her ex-husband "pushed our daughter to the ground, pinned her face down, put his knees on her back, grabbed her hands with one arm and beat her with the other."

Gibson has called the allegations "hurtful lies" and was seen recently crying over the situation on Facebook and pleading for his daughter not to be taken away from him.

The Fast and Furious star appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday where he learned he will not be subjected to criminal charges, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Gibson noted on Instagram Sunday that his friends Will and Jada Pinkett Smith sent him $5 million for his legal fees.

"When we show UP for each-other there's nothing that can't be done I️ repeat nothing," the 38-year-old wrote alongside a collection of photos of himself with the Smiths. "Our sister Jada-Pinkett Smith and my brother Will Smith just sent us 5 million dollars to help keep us afloat- You've guys asked me to get off and stay off the Internet now that my daughters legal fees will be paid ! will listen," he continued.

Gibson, also over the weekend, stated that he has reconciled with Dwayne Johnson after he blamed the former WWE star of pushing back the release of Fast and Furious 9 in order to star in a spinoff film with Jason Statham.

"Want you guys to know I️ had a real Heart to Heart with one of Dewayne's associates and this will be my last post about him," Gibson wrote alongside a photo of himself posing with Johnson and fellow Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel.

"I️ respect the associate who called.. My story will never change I️ was never DJ's Co-Star... I'm Shayla's Father first.... Justin Lin is back in the driver seat that's exciting cause it going to feel like the true #FastFamily all over again," he continued mentioning how franchise director Justin Lin is returning to the series.
