Natalie Maines, Adrian Pasdar split up

July 4 (UPI) -- Natalie Maines, the lead singer of the Dixie Chicks, has filed for divorce from her husband, actor Adrian Pasdar.

TMZ said Maines cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Maines, 42, and Pasdar, 52, married in 2000 and are the parents of two sons.

The New York Post said Maines' publicist didn't immediately respond to its request for a comment regarding the matter.
