June 26 (UPI) -- John Cena teased a potential match against fellow WWE Superstar Roman Reigns on Twitter Sunday during a Q&A with fans.

"It's his yard...I'd like to prove that wrong," the 16-time World Heavyweight Champion said in response to a fan asking if he would like to work with Reigns in the future.

Currently, Reigns is involved in a feud with a returning Braun Strowman whom he will take on in an Ambulance Match at Great Balls of Fire on July 9. Then at SummerSlam on Aug. 20, The Big Dog will face either Brock Lesnar or Samoa Joe for the Universal Championship.

Cena has been absent from WWE since April after he proposed to his longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania. He is set to return to WWE on July 4 on Smackdown Live.

Despite formerly being a member of the Smackdown Live roster, Cena will be a free agent upon his return. "I will go where I'm told," he wrote to a fan during the Q&A session who asked if he was staying on Smackdown or moving to Raw.

While moving to Raw would place Cena on the same show as Reigns, the competitors could still meet as part of a inter-promotional match, something WWE has done in the past.

Other highlights from Cena's Q&A with fans included the 40-year-old stating "The engagement to the woman of my dreams hands down the best," when asked about his most memorable opportunity. He also said that Star Wars is his favorite film series.
