March 24 (UPI) -- Chrissy Teigen throws back drinks with her mom in a clip for a new Smirnoff ad.

The 31-year-old model encouraged mom Vilailuck Teigen to get a little rowdy in a behind-the-scenes video from the vodka commercial.

"Guys. It's official. I'm in a relationship with @SmirnoffUS! I could have gone for a fancy vodka, but I didn't. I chose one that keeps it real instead," Teigen captioned the clip for her 11.2 million Instagram followers.

"Smirnoff is actually a really great tasting vodka, and they aren't afraid to be a little unfancy sometimes. Samesies. Take a peek behind the scenes with me and my mom @pepperthai2!!" she wrote.

Teigen is the daughter of Vilailuck and Ron Teigen, Sr., and told Yahoo! Style this month that her mom lives with her and husband John Legend. She said her mom has been an invaluable source of support as she and Legend raise 11-month-old daughter Luna.

"[I do it all by] having help. My mom lives with us. I have hair and makeup people. I'm not getting up and doing all this by myself," the star confessed. "A lot of hands go into it. We have help. It's important for people to know that."

"I have the utmost respect for mothers and single mothers who go to work and come home and make dinner. I do all these things because I have help," she said.

Teigen and Legend married in Como, Italy, in 2013, and welcomed Luna in April. The model shared a video of her daughter's first word -- "cat" -- this week from her family trip to Morocco.
