Prince Carl and Princess Sophia married in June 2015 after five years of dating, and welcomed Prince Alexander in April. The new mom couldn't help but gush about her son in an interview with Svenskdam in July.

"It's amazing," she said of parenthood. "He is very sweet and well-behaved."

"Being a mother is amazing," the princess added. "It changes your whole life."

Prince Carl is the only son of King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia. He follows elder sister Princess Victoria and her children, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, in the line of succession, making Prince Alexander fifth in line to the throne.
