Artie Lange tweets about drug arrest, says cops 'treated me so great'

March 18 (UPI) -- Troubled comedian and Crashing co-star Artie Lange, who has long struggled with his addiction to drugs, was arrested in New Jersey this week.

"Hey guys. I was arrested. I'm doing great. Physically too! I'm in St. Louis & will be on stage this weekend at The Funnybone! Love u all!..," Lange tweeted Friday.

"FYI The Hoboken Cops treated me so great. Great people. Professional. I thank them for that Now a lawyer tells me what to do!" he continued.

"I wish I could tell u how my story ends. I hope it's being old & smiling cuz of unique memories. But I'm such a flawed person guys. Tryin!" read another post.

NJ.com reported the former, frequent guest of The Howard Stern Show was arrested last Sunday in the parking deck of his Hoboken apartment building after police said they spotted cocaine and heroin in his car.
