LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard's post-Golden Globes plans included a game of Settlers of Catan, the couple shared on social media.

"Let the after party begin," Bell wrote on Instagram Sunday alongside a photo of the pair partaking in the multiplayer board game while still dressed in their award-show attire.

"Now the REAL event begins!!!" added Shepard on the photo-sharing app.

While arriving for the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards, Bell and Shepard detailed their plans to skip out on the Hollywood after parties and instead have their own game night.

"If anybody knew what was up, they'd all be playing a game night as well," Bell said on the red-carpet before mentioning how the game can cause rifts in a relationship.

"It causes riffs, it's broken friendships," she joked. "We fight when we play it."

Bell was on hand to present the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Miniseries or TV Movie.

Shepard last made headlines in September when he celebrated his 12th year of sobriety on social media alongside Bell and their two children, 3-year-old son Lincoln and 20-month-old daughter Delta.
