Sia, husband Erik Anders Lang separate after two years of marriage

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Sia and her husband Erik Anders Lang are calling it quits after two years of marriage.

"After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple," the pair said in a joint statement to E! News.

"We are, however, dedicated to remaining friends. There will be no further comment," they continued.

The pop star and film producer married in 2014 during a ceremony at Sia's Palm Springs, Calif. home.

Sia, known for covering her face and keeping her life private, did the same with her marriage as she rarely spoke of Anders.

The couple only made a handful of red carpet appearances, the last of which took place in February for a pre-Grammys party presented by Spotify.
