Lady Gaga tweets Kanye West: 'I support & love u brother'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Recording artist Lady Gaga responded to rapper Kanye West's hospitalization with a string of supportive tweets this week.

"i support & love u brother, I see in you bravery & courage to stop this tour & take care of YOU. You are a GREAT artist," she offered in one post.

"While I don't agree with everything he does I hope the public shows compassion and for @kanyewest and each other. One love. One Race," read another message.

"It's not funny to joke about anyone's possible or not possible mental illness, this is a sensitive time for many. Let's be kind & loving," she also said.

West -- who is married to reality TV star Kim Kardashian -- has been hospitalized since Monday for "exhaustion." He last week canceled his Saint Pablo concert tour following days of attention-grabbing rants on stage.
