Chad Michael Murray, Sarah Roemer expecting second child

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Chad Michael Murray and Sarah Roemer are expecting baby No. 2.

The 35-year-old actor confirmed to Us Weekly through his agent that the 32-year-old actress is pregnant and expecting their second child.

Murray and Roemer met on the set of Chosen in 2014 and quietly married the next year. The couple welcomed a son in May 2015, but have yet to reveal their firstborn's name.

"Having a family just changes your perspective on everything," the actor told Entertainment Tonight in July. "I mean it's a world changer."

"For me, it's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me," he gushed. "I think you're always walking around with the mentality that you want to make sure that they're proud and you want to represent them well and just be a great leader."

Murray had said prior to his son's birth that he intends to teach his children to be respectful and kind. He also told E! News he hopes to share his love of the outdoors with his kids.

"I'm a respect first kind of guy, so I think certain things that I want my son to have is just respect and just to be a kind human being," he said. "I'm a big sports guy, an outdoorsy guy, so I'll have him fishing at 5, 6 ... take him kayaking and hiking."

Murray is known for playing Lucas Scott on One Tree Hill and is now portraying Jacob Orr on Chosen. Roemer also stars on the Crackle series, which has yet to announce a premiere date for its fourth season.
