LOS ANGELES, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- James Franco has thrown his support behind Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in a social media ad.

The clip posted onto Franco's Instagram Wednesday, takes after beer brand Dos Equis' popular Most Interesting Man in the World ad campaign which would list off funny facts about their spokesperson.

"The smartest guy in the room is always her. After she opens a can of whoopass, she always recycles the can," Franco says as archive footage of Clinton is shown.

"Her secret service code name is Hermione because she is a [expletive] wizard," he continues referencing Emma Watson's Harry Potter character. "She's the most interesting woman in the world."

"I don't always endorse candidates but when I do they're extraordinary. Vote wisely my friends," he concludes while standing next to a cardboard cutout of Clinton.

According to USA Today, the video is part of $1 million digital ad campaign that was launched by Women Vote!, Priorities USA and Schlep Laps.

"Hillary Clinton has led an amazing life; it is not a stretch to describe her as 'the most interesting woman in the world,'" Franco said in a statement. "I got involved in this project because I wanted more people, particularly younger people, to get to know an extraordinary woman who has, through a lifetime a work, earned our trust and support."
