Celebrity backup dancer missing; Rihanna, Missy Elliott plead for her return

NORTH BERGEN, N.J., Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Celebrity backup dancer Shirlene Quigley has disappeared, according to police, and stars like Rihanna and Missy Elliott are reaching out to fans for help.

Quigley, 32, who has worked with Beyonce, Rihanna, Elliott, and Jamie Foxx was last seen getting on a bus at Port Authority in NYC around 1 a.m. on Sunday.

Rihanna posted a heartfelt plea on Instagram Monday, asking anyone with information to come forward.

"This beautiful soul, and former dancer of mine is MISSING!!! My heart aches thinking of how heavy this is on all who love her! If anyone has seen or has any information on @shirlenequigley's whereabouts ..... PLEASE CONTACT the North Bergen Police Department 201 392 2100 !!!!" Rihanna shared.

Elliott also posted a video to Instagram, saying she was praying for Quigley's safe return.

"This is @shirlenequigley she's been missing since Friday she is so loved & we pray for her safe return.. if u have any information or seen her please contact North Bergen police 201-392-2100 she was last seen at 12:55 am at Port Authority," Elliott wrote. "Need help from the whole Dance Community to spread the word! Those who have met her know her spirit is always bubbly and kind & uplifting energy! Sending countless prayers."

Quigley teaches dance at Peridance Capezio Center and Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan and was reported missing by her father.

"I just want her to come home or if someone has her to let her be," her father said. "She's everything to me. She's why I live."
