LAS VEGAS, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Hillary Clinton sent social media into a frenzy with her white pantsuit at the final presidential debate Wednesday in Las Vegas.

The 68-year-old Democratic presidential candidate drew comparisons to Scandal character Olivia Pope with the Ralph Lauren outfit at her third debate with Republican candidate Donald Trump.

"Yes @hillaryclinton pulled out the Olivia Pope white for final #debatenight You know what that means: this election is #handled," another person wrote.

The white suit concluded a trio of red, white and blue looks for Clinton. She wore a red pantsuit to the first debate Sept. 26 in Hempstead, N.Y., and a navy blue to the second Oct. 8 in St. Louis, Mo., both also designed by Ralph Lauren.

Fashion critics and fans have dubbed Lauren the candidate's "dresser-in-chief" on social media. Clinton also wore a white Ralph Lauren pantsuit to accept her party's nomination at the Democratic National Convention in July.
