DETROIT, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Popular Detroit bakery Avalon International Breads will transform into Lorelei and Rory Gilmore's favorite restaurant, Luke's Diner, ahead of the new episodes.

On Oct. 5, Avalon will open its doors as Luke's, the Stars Hollow town diner made famous on Gilmore Girls for its never ending stream of coffee and its grumpy proprietor.
