"The best part of life has just begun #Motherhood #ImSoInLove," she captioned a photo of herself cradling the infant.

Simmons, who is engaged to businessman Sutton Tennyson, had celebrated with family and friends at a baby shower this month. The reality star announced her pregnancy in May.

"We are overjoyed and super excited to receive a blessing this big! Starting a family was something that I could have only dreamed of," she wrote at the time.

Simmons is the second-eldest of Valerie Vaughn's three children with Rev Run, who shares three other living kids with wife Justine Simmons. The television personality reflected on her father's advice in a 2015 interview with ESPN.

"When I was younger, my dad used to tell me, 'Do your best and forget the rest,'" she shared. "It's such a simple saying, but it still resonates with me today. I will continue to push myself."
