NEW YORK, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Today host Savannah Guthrie used milkshakes and a flying banner to announce that her second baby with husband Michael Feldman, due in December, is a boy.

As part of a segment called "Expecting Today," Guthrie's co-hosts, and even the outside crowd, weighed in on what they thought Baby No. 2 would be, with the majority of Today's anchors guessing correctly.

"I have about a 100 percent track record in guessing the gender of Today show babies," Al Roker said. "So I think Savannah is having a bouncing baby boy."

When it came time for the big reveal, Matt Lauer -- whom Guthrie had already told -- was holding two milkshakes, one pink and one blue, and asked Guthrie to choose.

Instead Guthrie directed attention to the TV monitor which showed a plane flying overhead with a banner reading "It's a boy!"

Guthrie's son will join big sister Vale, who was born in 2014.
